- Red Ribbon Week October 23-31, 2019 2019 marks the 34th anniversary of the Red Ribbon Campaign. The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people each year. The mission of the Red Ribbon Campaign is to present a unified and visible commitment toward the creation of a drug-free America. The red ribbons worn during this celebration are a symbol of unity against the illegal use of drugs.
- Imperial County, CA – Fourteen schools in Imperial County will join more than 3,000 schools from around the country to celebrate International Walk-to-School Day on October 2, 2019.
