Mission
The Imperial Pathways Charter School is a drop-out recovery program giving individuals ages 17 and older an opportunity to resume their education and obtain a high school diploma or GED.
Imperial Pathways Charter School strives to provide students with the resources, opportunities, and support that make academic success possible.
In order to earn a high school diploma or GED, all students will need to complete all of the state minimum course requirements (135 credits). Often students have credits that will transfer - to evaluate your individual credit history contact the Imperial Pathways Charter office at (760) 312-5507.

CTE Offerings
As part of its goal to provide well-rounded educational opportunities and supports for students’ success, Imperial Pathways Charter offers variety of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. CTE courses provide students with realworld workforce skill development, career exploration, and college preparation.
Courses are sequenced to create pathways for students in a variety of industry sectors. Imperial Pathways Charter School gives students the unique opportunity to learn more about the following industry sectors.
• Design Visual & Performing Arts
Students learn the fundamentals of graphic design using professional software programs, such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, image editing and manipulation, typography, marketing. Students work on challenging real-world projects and assignments. Classroom activities include lessons, projects, tutorials, and problem solving. Students learn the basics of successful design , “language” of visual design, and more.
- Patient Care Pathway
- Certified Medical Assistant with an Electrocardiogram (EKG) Certificate
- Medical Administration
- Phlebotomy
Approximately 75% of the students enrolled in this course pass the National exam at the end of the school year.
Students learn the many skills of medical assisting, including infection control, the ability to prepare patients for examinations and treatment, performing various laboratory tests, administrative skills, and medical terminology. The course provides clinical externship at a physician’s office, clinic, or hospital upon completion of the academic portion of the course.
Integrated throughout the course are Common Core State Standards Career Technical Education Standards, which include safety, communication, technology, ethics, career planning and other employability skills. This course is also approved by the University of California as an Honors course.
