As your elected County Superintendent of Schools, I take pride in ensuring our office provides outstanding service and leadership for our community. The Imperial County Office of Education has an extraordinary team of employees supporting our education systems throughout Imperial County, with a focus on providing high-quality educational experiences that develop students who are prepared for the workplace and for college.

Our team at ICOE works closely with our county's sixteen independent school districts as well as its public service agencies, businesses, institutions of higher education, and elected officials to ensure that meeting the educational needs of our children is a community priority.  ICOE also provides direct services to students with specialized needs through our alternative education and special education programs. Together we are stronger, as we have demonstrated in our community repeatedly over the years. Part of my role as your Superintendent of Schools is to maintain a shared focus on education issues and ensure we are fully engaging our collective resources. Empowerment of our community through education is our passion and drives our work each and every day.
