The ICOE College and Career Readiness Initiative is pleased to present the Imperial County Higher Education Week (HEW) K-12 Activities Manual for Elementary, Middle and High Schools.

To promote the importance of preparation for college and career at all grade levels, a series of events and activities have been created to implement at your school sites during Higher Ed. Week, September 18-22, 2017.

Teachers and school site staff will have the opportunity to engage students in meaningful conversations and activities to emphasize the importance of doing well to set the foundation for a successful future. Included in the manual is a flyer inviting students, staff and community members to our Higher Ed Week Parent Night at the IV Mall on September 20th from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

We encourage all districts to participate in Imperial County K-12 Higher Education Week activities and request that you share this information with your staff, including Teachers and ASB Directors.
