Red Ribbon Week
October 23-31, 2019
2019 marks the 34th anniversary of the Red Ribbon Campaign. The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people each year.
The mission of the Red Ribbon Campaign is to present a unified and visible commitment toward the creation of a drug-free America. The red ribbons worn during this celebration are a symbol of unity against the illegal use of drugs.
In an effort to unify this campaign for Imperial County, Superintendent Dr. Todd Finnell has issued a Proclamation in support of National Red Ribbon Week during October 23-31, 2019.
