Calexico - Tuesday evening (April 24, 2018) several hundred students from Imperial County's Migrant Education Program, and their families, attended a fun field trip to SDSU's extension campus in Imperial Valley.  After a fun dinner on the university quad the students and families assembled in SDSU's Rodney Auditorium to hear Dr. Gregorio Ponce, Dean of SDSU's Imperial Valley campus, read a story about a mouse going off to college (specifically SDSU in Calexico).  The students were then taken on tours of the campus.  

Afterwards the assembly of eager kids and parents were entertained by author and musician, Jose Luis Orozco.
